In 2012 a gunman entered a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises and killed 12 people while injuring 70 others. NFL Draft prospect Jordan Murphy attended that movie, and was able to escape the horrific scene.
Murphy, a former fullback for Colorado, told the story of his encounter with shooter James Holmes in scary detail to ESPN:
"He comes in to the right, my front right — we were in the fourth row. I can see his weapons. I can see him pretty clearly.
