ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller dropped a host of pro comparisons for first-round draft prospects on Thursday, and a few multiple-time NFL MVP quarterbacks were used for USC's Caleb Williams and LSU's Jayden Daniels.
Williams was compared to New York Jets signal-caller Aaron Rodgers, while Daniels was compared to Baltimore Ravens quarterback (and reigning NFL MVP) Lamar Jackson.
"The top overall player in the 2024 draft class, Williams combines excellent arm strength, mobility and field vision with a knack for making creative plays when defenses close in on the pocket," Miller wrote in part on the ex-USC star, who won the 2022 Heisman Trophy.
