The Denver Broncos made history by choosing former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix with the No. 12 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Nix was the sixth quarterback selected Thursday night, marking the most quarterbacks ever selected within the first twelve picks, per ESPN Stats & Info and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Schefter noted that the top twelve picks of 2024 produced the same number of signal callers drafted in Round 1 of 1983, formerly the most quarterback-heavy first round in draft history.
Three quarterbacks from the 1983 class went on to join the Hall of Fame.
