The defensive backs and tight ends took center stage during their workout sessions at the 2024 NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis on Friday afternoon.
While Toledo CB Quinyon Mitchell didn't fail to disappoint with an unofficial 4.3-second run in the 40-yard dash, Clemson CB Nate Wiggins topped him with a 4.28. But that came at a price of a reported hip flexor injury which ended his workouts for the day.
Wiggins' time is also the best of the combine so far, for any position in the 40-yard dash.
