The Indianapolis Colts are believed to have landed a steal when they drafted wide receiver Adonai Mitchell in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft.
Longtime NFL analyst Greg Cosell said during an appearance on the Ross Tucker Podcast that he spoke to a veteran NFL coach who had Mitchell ranked in the top three among wide receivers in this year's draft class ahead of Rome Odunze, who was selected by the Chicago Bears with the No. 9 pick.
"I will say that I spoke to one coach who has been in the league for 30 years on the offensive side of the ball, and he had Mitchell as his third-rated wide receiver ahead of Odunze," Cosell said.
