The NFL filed a brief with the Second District of New York Appeals Court in the continuing litigation of the Deflategate case on Monday, calling Judge Richard Berman's decision to vacate Tom Brady's suspension "unfathomable" and "inexplicable."
The league filed a 61-page brief in the appeal of the Brady case, won by the Patriots quarterback in early September when Berman ruled in his favor.
At the time Berman ruled Brady received "inadequate notice" of a potential punishment, was denied the chance to interview witnesses (namely Jeff Pash) and was denied access to investigative notes.
