The Washington Commanders may not have been the most active team in free agency, but they made big moves that could make a 12-5 team even better in 2025.
Washington general manager Adam Peters didn't blow his budget in free agency, refusing to pay top dollar for a class most considered weak. Instead, Peters used the trade market to fill two of the Commanders' most significant needs. First, he sent a fifth-round pick to the 49ers for Deebo Samuel and shocked the NFL by sending multiple picks to the Texans for five-time Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil.
