NFL Agent Calls out Woody Johnson: Jets Owner 'Can't Make a Good Decision'

As the New York Jets seek to hire a new head coach and general manager this offseason after a dreadful 2024 campaign, there isn't much optimism that team owner Woody Johnson will make the right calls.

"Woody can't make a good decision," a prominent coaching agent told ESPN's Rich Cimini.

That follows a damning exposé on the team's culture under Johnson's ownership by Zack Rosenblatt, Dianna Russini and Michael Silver of The Athletic back in December.

The Jets have already interviewed Mike Vrabel—who has since been hired by the New England Patriots—Ron Rivera, Rex Ryan, Matt Nagy, Brian Flores, Steve Spagnuolo, Vance Joseph, Arthur Smith and Darren Rizzi for their coaching vacancy, and are expected to interview interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich as well (though given his 3-9 record after taking over for Robert Saleh, he feels like the longest of shots).
