N.F.C. Championship: 49ers Lead in Third Quarter

How the Cincinnati Bengals beat Kansas City in the A.F.C. championship game to reach their first Super Bowl since the 1988 season.

The 49ers and Rams went to the locker room with San Francisco ahead 10-7 after one half of football in the N.F.C. championship game at SoFi Stadium.

The Rams held the ball more than twice as long as the 49ers and they dominated every offensive category. Quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with receiver Cooper Kupp for one score and could have had two other touchdown passes if Kupp and receiver Ben Skowronek had not dropped passes.
