The New York Giants effectively ended their dalliance with Aaron Rodgers on Tuesday with the addition of veteran Russell Wilson on a one-year deal that could be worth up to $21 million.
The Giants now have three experienced players in their quarterback room: Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Tommy DeVito. With Miami's Cam Ward nailing his pro day on Monday and basically sewing up the top spot in the draft, the Giants suddenly are not as desperate to add a young quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick.
But that won't preclude them from adding a young developmental player in the upcoming NFL draft.
