New York Giants continue to wait on long shot Aaron Rodgers

The New York Giants are not giving up on their quest to sign future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The general consensus is that they are willing to wait as long as it takes for Rodgers to make his decision on where he wants to play this season.

The race for Rodgers is down to two teams (the Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers) now that the Minnesota Vikings have let their intentions known they are not interested. Or at least not interested for now.

The Giants agreed to terms with veteran Jameis Winston last week to a two-year, $8 million deal as a safeguard if Rodgers chooses to go to Pittsburgh or retire.
