Josh Johnson returned to the Washington Commanders last week, signing a one-year deal with the franchise for whom he started three games in 2018. No player in NFL history has played for more teams than the soon-to-be-39-year-old quarterback. Johnson has played for 14 franchises and had multiple stints with four teams, including the Commanders.
Needless to say, Johnson has seen a lot. Things are much different in Washington now than when he last wore the burgundy and gold in 2018. Dan Snyder was Washington's owner, Bruce Allen was the general manager, and Jay Gruden was the head coach.
