Not only was Oklahoma’s come-from-behind victory over Texas brutal for UT and its fans, it was brutal for those who bet Texas to cover the spread.
The Longhorns were 3.5-point underdogs but jumped out to a 14-0 lead in less than two minutes of gametime. In fact, Texas dominated for three quarters. Texas led 28-7 after one quarter and had a 38-20 lead going into halftime.
Late in the third, the Longhorns had a 41-23 advantage — but Oklahoma stormed all the way back and delivered an all-time bad beat in the final minute of play.
