NCAA allows schools to pay for parents or guardians of recruits on official visits

The NCAA passed a pair of rulings that will positively impact the relationships between coaches and recruits.

The organization passed Proposal 2015-52, which allows schools to pay for up to two parents or guardians of a recruit during official visits, ESPN.com reported.

The rule goes into effect Aug. 1, 2016.

According to the NCAA's Division I Council report, the proposal was passed 14-1. The Sun Belt was the only conference to vote against it.
