After suddenly deciding to move on from Phil Jackson, the New York Knicks also appear to be ready to move on from Derrick Rose. Via the New York Daily News:
Despite reports of mutual interest before Phil Jackson was fired, a reunion between the Knicks and Derrick Rose appears to be a long shot, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation.
The Knicks acquired Rose last summer in a deal that sent Robin Lopez to the Bulls, and though Rose had high hopes for his new squad, calling them a superteam before the season started, it was another rough season in Madison Square Garden.
