Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks was named the league's Most Improved Player for 2016-17 at the NBA Awards show on Monday.
Antetokounmpo emerged as one of the league's most mesmerizing players in 2016-17, averaging 22.9 points 8.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game for the Bucks last season. He made marked improvement across the board from his third year in the NBA in 2015-16.
