Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo is still annoyed with a ruling stemming from the ninth inning of Thursday's 9-7 loss to the Mets. But his beef isn't necessarily with an umpire, although he had to be separated by Citi Field security from second base umpire Jim Joyce after the two were involved in a shouting match after the game.
Joyce ruled Daniel Murphy out at first base after deciding Jayson Werth’s slide into second base was a violation of the new slide Rule 6.01(j). The play was reviewed by and upheld by officials.

"It was more about the frustration with the inconsistency and ambiguity of the rules than it was about any specific call," Rizzo said Friday, via The Washington Post.
