The New York Jets continued to address the various needs of the team after they drafted LSU tight end Mason Taylor with the 42nd overall pick (second round) of the 2025 NFL Draft on Friday. Taylor comes to New York with the first season of 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards for a tight end in LSU school history and quarterback Justin Fields will love to be throwing the ball to Taylor as one of his targets.
Taylor, listed at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, brings a level of receiving ability that the Jets have not seen at tight end in quite some time with the way that he gets open against a number of different coverages.
