Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane was aggressive at the NFL Draft in the second round, moving up 15 spots in the second round to select South Carolina defensive tackle TJ Sanders. Buffalo traded draft picks No. 56, No. 62, and No. 109 to Chicago for selections No. 41, No. 72, and No. 240.
Buffalo placed an emphasis on enhancing their defense with this year's draft. Sanders supplements the interior of the defensive line well, giving the Bills an explosive player who can get in the backfield swiftly. Sanders does well to defend against the run, powerfully blowing up the interior linemen he faced in college.
