It's a running joke about NASCAR drivers: All they really need to know is how to go fast and turn left.
But over the years, plenty of drivers proved good at turning right, too.
Some of NASCAR's biggest stars added to their resumes by winning stock-car races on road courses. And with Sprint Cup running this week at Sonoma, one of two road courses on the 2016 schedule, it's time to see who was best at this different form or racing.
There used to be a handful of contenders in NASCAR road races, but today there are nearly two dozen drivers who can win at Sonoma and Watkins Glen.
