Brad Keselowski passed hometown favorite Kyle Busch on Lap 261 of 267 and cruised to victory Sunday in the Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Busch, a Sin City native, was in line to pull off the win with five laps to go, but the No. 18 driver said after the race that a mechanical issue docked his speed and he fell down the leaderboard to fourth place. Keselowski took advantage, despite fuel concerns and weather conditions that brought a sand storm through the track for several laps, and pulled away for his first win of the season and second at the 1.
