Heavy rain soaked the track this morning, but the skies had cleared by noon and the sun was peeking through scattered clouds. But there is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, with the percentages climbing after the scheduled 6 p.m. start. The command to fire engines is scheduled for 6:09 p.m. ET, with an anticipated green flag of 6:18.
