NASCAR's All-Star race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday not only will have a new format but also a new aero package in hopes of creating an exciting $1 million exhibition for fans and drivers alike.
NASCAR announced three updates Monday to the rules package that are aimed at reducing both downforce and side force. The changes will be in place for the Sprint Showdown and the Sprint All-Star Race and could be part of a new package for the 2017 season.
