Myles Garrett appeal hearing set for Wednesday; Garrett reportedly wants to attend

The NFL moved quickly to hand down several punishments from last Thursday night’s Cleveland Browns-Pittsburgh Steelers brawl, announcing suspensions for Cleveland’s Myles Garrett and Larry Ogunjobi and Pittsburgh’s Maurkice Pouncey late Friday morning.

Garrett, who received an indefinite suspension that will last at least until the end of the regular season (and playoffs, if the Browns qualify), has decided to appeal the decision.

Myles Garrett appeal to be heard Wednesday

ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted Monday afternoon that Garrett’s appeal will be heard on Wednesday by James Thrash, one of two appeals officers jointly appointed by the NFL and NFL Players Association.
