On Wednesday, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced they signed tight end Mychal Rivera.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Network noted it was a two-year deal that can be worth as much as $6.75 million with player and team incentives.
Rivera spent the first four seasons of his career with the Oakland Raiders.
Rivera entered the league as a sixth-round draft pick in 2013 out of Tennessee and caught four touchdowns as a rookie. He enjoyed a career season the following year with 534 receiving yards and four touchdowns, but his production fell off in 2015 and 2016 as tight end Clive Walford played a larger role in Oakland's aerial attack:
