Singer-songwriter James Taylor got a head start on next summer's concert season this week, announcing a tour of four MLB stadiums in 2017.
Taylor, with supporting act Bonnie Raitt, will perform at Nationals Park (July 14), Wrigley Field (July 17), AT&T Park (July 29) and Fenway Park (Aug. 11). For Taylor, it will be the third consecutive year he has played Fenway.

Ballpark concerts have become annual events for MLB teams such as the Nationals, Cubs, Giants and Red Sox, as well as for multiple NFL teams booking concerts to generate revenue during the summer months.
