MONZA, Italy — There was very little action on the racetrack in Monza on Sunday at the Italian Grand Prix, as Lewis Hamilton again dominated in his Mercedes and won the race — his 40th career victory and his seventh this season — by 25.042 seconds over Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, who finished second.
But after the race, a full-fledged drama broke out for the winner and his team, as the Mercedes cars of Hamilton and his teammate, Nico Rosberg, were found to have started the race with a tire that was under the legal level of air pressure according to a rule instituted this weekend.
