Monaco has announced its first foray into eSports by signing competitive FIFA player Nathan 'Sneaky' Nayagom.
The French principality club follows hot on the heels of Ligue 1 rival Paris Saint-Germain, which launched its own eSports team last week with two highly-rated FIFA gamers and a former League of Legends player.
But while PSG intends to build a team to compete in games beyond football, Monaco's signing is a partnership with existing organisation Epsilon eSports.
Sneaky, who's considered among the top four FIFA players in France, will continue to play for Epsilon but will do so wearing Monaco's jersey.
