As Seattle continues to celebrate its recent MLS Cup victory, the rest of the league continues to build and strengthen for next year's campaign. After expansion side Inter Miami acquired Victor Ulloa from FC Cincinnati, Nashville SC responded by adding veteran Dax McCarty from Chicago. The club also sent $50,000 in General Allocation Money, $50,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) and a second-round pick in the 2021 SuperDraft to the Fire.
Meanwhile San Jose signed 14-year-old goalkeeper Emmanuel Ochoa on a Homegrown Contract, making him the second-youngest player ever to sign for an MLS club and the youngest through the league's HP rule.
