Eight teams remain alive in the hunt for the MLS Cup after the midweek knockout matches, and each team now knows who it must face.
After the Seattle Sounders victory in their Western Conference knockout game against Sporting Kansas City, the Sounders will take on Supporters' Shield winners FC Dallas. The other Western Conference game will pit the No. 2 seed Colorado Rapids against the LA Galaxy, which won 3-1 over Real Salt Lake to move into the conference semifinals.
On the Eastern Conference side of the bracket, Montreal's win over D.C. United means the No. 5 seed Impact face the conference champion New York Red Bulls.
