MLB playoffs 2016: Washington subway infuriates Nationals fans with early service cutoff

WASHINGTON — Things were already depressing for Nationals fans in the seventh inning of Game 5 of the National League Division Series on Thursday night after Joc Pederson’s home run off Max Scherzer tied the game for the Dodgers.

Things got worse for the home team at Nationals Park when Marc Rzepczynski walked Yasmani Grandal and Blake Treinen gave up a single to pinch hitter Howie Kendrick.

The loudest boos of the night, though, came after Treinen struck out pinch hitter Charlie Culberson, and Dusty Baker came out to the mound to make another pitching change, bringing in Sammy Solis.
