MLB players union issues blistering statement about delayed Mookie Betts trade

While baseball fans wonder when the reported trade that would send Mookie Betts to the Los Angeles Dodgers will be made official, the Major League Baseball Players Association is now taking aim at the parties involved with a blistering message: Get it done.

Tony Clark, head of the players union, issued a statement Friday afternoon that made it clear where he union stands on this. He talks about the “unethical leaking of medical information” and the “perversion of salary arbitration.”

This, of course, is bigger than just Mookie Betts putting on Dodger blue.
