Braves outfielder Hector Olivera will remain on paid administrative leave for another two weeks while Major League Baseball investigates an alleged domestic violence incident with a woman earlier this month.
According to Fox Sports, Olivera's leave was set to expire Wednesday but MLB and the Players' Association agreed to extend it until a full investigation is completed and an appropriate disciplinary ruling can be made under the league's new domestic-violence policy.
