MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake High School baseball team opened the 2025 season with a 5-2 loss to Mt. Si (Snoqualmie) on Friday afternoon.
Moses Lake coach Donnie Lundgren told his team after the game that they came within one run on multiple occasions, but that the errors cost them.
“We made too many mistakes. When you make mistakes in baseball, good things don’t happen,” he said. “Our focus wasn’t there, and we’re going to work on our focus and continue to get better in all the fundamentals.”
The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead in the second inning after miscommunication between Moses Lake’s pitcher and catcher led to a dropped ball; the runner eventually scored.
