When the world mourned the death of rock legend Prince, the loss was particularly felt in the musician's native Minnesota. Tributes of all kinds poured out from the Land of 10,000 Lakes, including many from the local teams.
Among them, the Minnesota Wild held a moment of silence prior to Game 6 of their first-round matchup against the Dallas Stars. They also temporarily changed their goal song to Prince's hit "Let's Go Crazy."
While it was only going to be used for that game, the response to the song was so strong that the team had to at least consider making the change permanent.
