Minnesota United has acquired midfielder Collin Martin from D.C. United in a trade, the two MLS teams announced Tuesday.
D.C. United receives a 2018 fourth round MLS SuperDraft pick in exchange for Martin.
“Collin has been a part of the United family for several years, and we wish him the best as he continues his career,” D.C. United general manager Dave Kasper said in a statement.
Martin, a homegrown player, signed from D.C. United’s academy in 2013, but has only made 15 MLS appearances to date. He has spent time on loan with the Richmond Kickers of the USL, where he scored his only professional goal.
