Minnesota has suspended leading scorer Nate Mason and freshmen Kevin Dorsey and Dupree McBrayer for the remainder of the season.
The three were initially suspended for Sunday's game against Illinois, two days after a video appeared on Dorsey's Twitter account that appeared to show the player having sex. The tweets were eventually taken down, and he deleted his entire account shortly after as well.
"I believe this is the best thing for the basketball program as we strive to build a strong and respectful culture each and every day," coach Richard Pitino said in a statement.
