Mike Zimmer will be back on the sideline coaching the Vikings on Sunday, thanks to some special sunglasses that will protect his surgically repaired eye.
The Vikings coach missed the team's last game, a 17-15 loss to the Cowboys on Dec. 1, as he recovered from surgery to repair a detached retina in his right eye. Zimmer underwent another surgery — his fourth — about a week ago. He has had to follow a strict recovery routine that has included lying face down and limiting his eye movement.
