Wide receiver Mike Williams hasn’t played an NFL game since the 2014 season, and he will need to find a new team following Wednesday’s news if he plans on seeing the field in 2016.
The Kansas City Chiefs released Williams and safety Stevie Brown on Wednesday as the 2016 campaign approaches.
Williams entered the league as a fourth-round pick out of Syracuse in 2010 and played his first four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was a consistent force in his first three campaigns and tallied double-digit touchdowns (11) as a rookie.
