Mike Wallace Says Carson Wentz Was '99 Percent' of Reason He Joined Eagles

Nick Foles may have won the Philadelphia Eagles a Vince Lombardi Trophy, but Carson Wentz is still their greatest asset when it comes to recruiting free agents.

Speaking to reporters at his introductory press conference Friday, wide receiver Mike Wallace said Wentz was "99 percent" of the reason why he signed a one-year deal with the Eagles, according to the Philadelphia Daily News' Les Bowen.

Wallace added that he turned down more lucrative offers in order to play with the reigning Super Bowl champions.

"I want to win, and this team is loaded," he said, according to Dave Spadaro of the team's official website.
