New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel met with the media on Tuesday and broke his silence on Penn State edge defender Abdul Carter.
An argument could be made that Carter is the best overall prospect on the entire draft board. There's a chance he falls to the Patriots, depending on what the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants end up doing. So far, the Titans appear locked in on Miami quarterback Cam Ward.
Both the Giants and Browns need quarterbacks as well, but they could always take the best available players, who many view as Carter and Colorado receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.
