Former NFL receiver Mike Sims-Walker made a strange admission Wednesday.
Sims-Walker said he offered to take a fall for Marshall, who was accused of punching a woman during a melee from a 2012 nightclub brawl.

Sims-Walker, Marshall's college roommate at Central Florida, made the revelation in a Manhattan federal courtroom Wednesday during a civil trial against the Jets receiver, according to NJ.com.
Sims-Walker, who spent five NFL seasons with the Jaguars and Rams, admitted to the court he texted Marshall following the incident, saying, "If I need to, I'll take the blame; I'll say I hit her.
