New Tigers utility player Mike Aviles had some good news to share Thursday morning — his daughter is cancer free.
Mike Aviles all smiles in camp. His daughter, Adriana, diagnosed with leukemia last year, had bone marrow transplant, now cancer-free.

The 5-year-old had a bone marrow transplant this winter and will be joining her father in Lakeland, Fla. (where the Tigers have spring training) soon.
