CHICAGO — Miguel Andujar may be going through growing pains with his glove, but there is nothing wrong with his bat.
Stationed at designated hitter in the two games since his costly error led to an extra-inning loss to Boston on Sunday night, Andujar delivered a two-out, run-scoring single in the 13th inning that lifted the Yankees to a 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night.
Andujar, who earlier hit a solo home run, drove in Didi Gregorius by reaching down and lining a changeup from the White Sox left-hander Luis Avilan into left-center field.
