Well, that drought it over, and he was awfully relieved about it.
After going into Wednesday's game against the Braves with zero home runs in 69 at-bats, Guerrero Jr. destroyed an off-speed pitch from Spencer Strider (who was making his return from elbow surgery) in the sixth inning. The 412-foot homer was a no doubter and a long time coming for Guerrero Jr.
