Mickelson parts ways with swing coach

Los Angeles (AFP) - Five time major winner Phil Mickelson is looking for a new teacher after breaking up with longtime swing coach Butch Harmon.

The 45-year-old Mickelson told Golf.com that the separation was amicable.

"I've learned a great deal from him in our eight years together," Mickelson said. "It's just that at the moment I need to hear new ideas from a different perspective."

Mickelson won 12 tournaments, including the 2007 Players Championship, 2010 Masters and 2013 Open Championship during his time with Harmon.
