Michigan's credit card bill for spring break trip to Florida: $348,000

The Michigan Wolverines' controversial trip to Florida for spring break practices cost more than $348,000, according to documents released Friday (via the Detroit Free Press).

The team practiced four days between Feb. 29 and March 4 at IMG Academy in Bradenton. Coach Jim Harbaugh's decision to schedule the trip drew criticism from some in the college football world, including SEC commissioner Greg Sankey and ACC commissioner John Swofford. Even NCAA president Mark Emmert questioned the need for the trip. Harbaugh called the criticism "comical."

There was nothing comical about the price tag for the trip.
