It's beeen 50 years since "The Game of the Century", the de facto 1966 national championship game played between No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 2 Michigan State that ended in a 10-10 tie.
Can't get any better than that, right? Saturday's game between the 12th-ranked Spartans and the 18th-ranked Fighting Irish could be right up there with the best games in this rivalry. Michigan State is coming off a bye week after struggling past Furman and Notre Dame is trying to keep its playoff hopes alive. Both teams have been in the national title conversation for several years and this is just the fourth time since the 1966 game that both teams have been ranked in the Top 20.
