Travis Pointe Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has announced it will embark on a $6 million renovation to its clubhouse and golf course. The work to the golf course will begin in 2026 and will be conducted by architect and club member Chris Wilczynski, a Michigan native whose work stretches across the U.S.

Much of the work to the golf course will focus on the strategic placement of bunkers, which will be rebuilt with Billy Bunker liners to improve drainage and maintenance. Plans also call for expanding greens and realigning fairways on the layout that was originally designed by Bill Newcomb and opened in 1977.
