For once, at least, a short week on the Sprint Cup circuit won’t necessarily be a bad thing.
Sunday’s race at Pocono was washed out, meaning the race was run Monday. That doesn’t leave teams a lot of time to prepare for the two-mile track at Michigan International Speedway that’s sure to mean high speeds and lots of actions, compared to the tricky triangle run Monday at Pocono.
